More Quality Meetings

Newly introduced in time for 2018 is the event's facilitated meetings programme which will match the needs of visitors with the capabilities of suppliers and help to arrange business meetings on stands.

Extended hours

Automechanika Birmingham will extend the opening hours on one day of the exhibition to allow more time for networking in the Workshop Quarter. In an informal atmosphere, Automechanika Birmingham will welcome visitors to stay longer and allow exhibitors to benefit from further networking with new and existing customers on their stands.

Attracting more workshops

Workshop Quarter

A new dedicated hall layout will include an area specifically for suppliers of tools, garage equipment and those who want to meet workshops, MOT centres and autocentres.

Enhanced Workshop Training Zone

  • Bigger and better than last year, the Workshop Training Zone will host live demonstrations on the latest equipment, parts and components. The live demonstrations will be hosted by expert speakers, partners and suppliers.  It's an active session you don't want to miss!

Workshop Social

The Workshop Social will offer workshops and garages a chance to take a break, gather their thoughts and network with similar minded workshop businesses in an informal area in the halls.

Business Services Zone

  • Held in the Workshop Quarter, the new area will offer a hub of business advice from a range of product and service providers, ranging from finance and insurance to marketing and IT requirements. Workshops can learn how to work smarter and increase efficiency.

Garage of the Year

The Garage of the Year competition will run again in 2018, attracting regional garages to enter the competition to win the title 'Garage of the Year' and a cash prize!

Exclusive Deals & Discounts

  • Visitors will find exclusive show deals and discounts on tools, products and systems, only at the show.

Specialist Areas

Specialist Demo Zone

Newly launched and designed for mobile repairers and bodyshops, the Specialist Demo Zone offers practical demonstrations of the latest products and techniques affecting vehicle body repair & customisation.

Retail Park

A dedicated area for suppliers of vehicle accessories, designed to help retailers find the latest supplies for their stores.

Future thinking

Innovation Zone

The Innovation Zone is a showcase of the latest and emerging technologies to impact service and repair as well as the wider automotive industry. In association with the MIA (Motosport Industry Association), the area will host the latest innovations to give visitors an insight into the future of the automotive industry.

Tomorrow's Mobility

New for 2018, Automechanika Birmingham will host a dedicated area showcasing future technology on connected and autonomous vehicles, electrification and vehicle manufacturer mobility initiatives. Only the latest technologies and advanced solutions will be shown here at the show.
