SMMT with support from Automechanika Birmingham will display the exciting new area 'Connected & Digital Technology Zone' which will demonstrate the latest cutting edge automotive technologies in Hall 6.

The area will feature products coming to market, but also those that will enable the design, development and manufacturer of the vehicles of tomorrow. For visitors, the area offers a look into the future, offering up ultimate technological solutions for the whole of the automotive industry.

New facial recognition software from Nottingham University

Discover the demonstration of new facial recognition software that reads the 'emotions' of the driver. Visitors can stand in front of the screen and their face is quickly picked up and features captures. See a graph indicating all the emotions on screen!
